No one has ever come back to say. Not one bit of proof that there is anything after this.

Once you die the particles of your body are returned back into the universe to be reused again, just as you have reused them. There's no "you" any longer to continue on. If this seems sad keep in mind that once there is no longer a YOU, YOU will no longer be capable of sadness. Or of any other kind of thought or emotion, including fear. So there is nothing to fear about being dead and gone.

After death you return to what you were before you were born: nothing.

I find it highly unlikely that we will, right along the lines of Dawkins suggesting invisible unicorns might be in the room. But since we only have one viewpoint of consciousness and self, I still feel that a question like that the answer is simply unknowable but we can say we have zero evidence to support it.
Ah -- an agnostic a-immortalist? Yes, I agree with this ... no evidence, highly unlikely, and even in the unlikely event there IS some kind of consciousness after life it is more apt to be recycled for use by others or some such than to remain organized as us, for us.

What you don't realize is that your consciousness is already an eternal form of consciousness that is created and exists beyond the here and now. We are living in a "delayed broadcast" based on memory traces recorded within our brain as our true consciousness is produced and resides in the unified field. As a mere memory of your real self residing in a physical production factory . . . you do not actually exist, per se. That is why you can seem to lose your sense of self if ANY of the brain memories or functions become dysfunctional.

Just like we don't "realize" that the moon is made of green cheese or "realize" that there are leprechauns at the end of the rainbow. We don't "realize" these things because we are able to filter knowledge from made up religious dogma.

I really think that is nothing more than Misty's feeling of self-importance talking.
