Hello again all.

I note that you didn't specify it has to be a good song, and with that constraint removed, there is no song atheist-er than "Dear God."

Warning: site plants cookies. You can also get it on YouTube, but not from a mobile device (like I'm on 99% of my C-D time).

Thanks.

Does anybody else have the scoop on a some good, ol' fashioned, religion-bashing music for atheists?

Thanks!

**** me Sam, what are the odds
that of history’s endless parade of gods
that the God you just happened to be taught to believe in
is the actual one and he digs on healing,

but not the AIDS-ridden African nations,
the victims of the plague
or the flood-addled Asians,
but healthy, privately-insured Australians
with common and curable corneal degeneration?

Speakng of instrumentals, can I get to hear an a-theistic one????? Curious as to how a composer would melodically conceive in melody only a no-god universe. Question is would we get any musical 'hits' out of that construction?????

There are better Modest Mouse songs for making more blatantly atheistic allusions, but this is what I'm listening to currently, and in many moods is my favorite song by them (and its materialist viewpoint is pretty obvious to anyone who listens to the full song):
