I say nothing. Even when I was a christian, I preferred saying nothing when someone sneezes. I always found it weird that strangers in stores or wherever would comment on another person's bodily noises. No one says bless you when a person coughs, hiccups, passes gas, or their stomach growls. I consider it more polite to pretend I didn't hear it.
"Gesundheit", or if someone looks easily offended "God bless you!" followed by "In nomine Christis" (in my best gregorian chant-style voice) while making the sign of the cross at them. Sometimes I throw in a "Out, demon!" for good measure... If they've sneezed more than twice, I just say "Shut up already!"
I see no reason to comment at all. I do not comment on any of their other bodily functions. So why this one?
