Interesting I suppose since I'm always amused at the way deities are depicted, only resembling the people who worship them.

Interestingly (or not), there are many semi-imaginary figures in Buddhism that are not portrayed as being male or female, or whose sex has changed either over time or by location. The best example is Kuan Yin, the "Chinese goddess of mercy", who now is typically portrayed as female. But in some locations and at some times in history, she was portrayed as being male.

God is a woman and she looks like Alanis Morissette.

That artwork seems to portray "god" as a female- look how she's giving birth to all of those adorable cherubs.

If we now postulate a god which is sexless, might we also advance the idea that it does not give a ding dang diddly about what we do with our sex lives?

Interesting thought.

And if god is not sexless, who does it have sex with?

This is proper decision. What is referred to as "god" by Christian common folk, can't possibly be of a certain gender as "he" can's create a "she" and vice versa. It has to be of both to create both.
I'll expend this. Even simple notion of gender and sex, in the least all varieties, is not applicable to "god".

Phetaroi pointed towards the right direction. Many deities are "sexless" or "genderless" in various pantheons through human history.

Don't forget, in say Greek mythology, a god had to take upon a human form to actually have coitus with a human female. Otherwise, a god could give direct birth to an offspring. Like Zeus and Athena.

Yet, it is easier for a lay mind to believe into something that it sees daily. Hence, another MAN figure is depicted as godhead.

Btw, remark about nipples.

1. a male actually does have undeveloped breasts. Significant number of males has breast cancer.

2. nipples are not really just for breast feeding. They are external opening in physical body, just like 7 openings in skull. They serve their purpose on level little known to those, who do not look deeper into what a human body really is.

Episcopal church considers plan to castrate God. Virgins report feelings of great relief. More news at eleven.
