No. I wouldn't always even know.I trust it more depending on the subject matter and how much experience I have with that situation.
Educated guess I guess. It happens below my awareness. I might be throwing in a little hypervigilance too.
I ask and listen to my intuition about small, everyday things. Which route to take, for example.
Huge revelations don't come rest upon me out of nowhere or anything. I didn't have an inkling on 9/11, not even a vague nagging, "something bad might happen" feeling. I was in pretty good spirits that morning.
Sometimes I've gotten a sense that something was up with my daughter, and I've been right.
Spiritual development within the context of a-theism
Spiritual interpretations of existing science and knowledge are essentially banned from the R&S forum despite the title of Spirituality. The only acceptable interpretations of existing knowledge here are atheistic, so the development of spirituality is effectively banned.
anti-religious/god can't lead to spiritual growth any more than "My religion only". They are based on "hate". They will have some valid points but in the end its focusing on "hate".
for example, "I hate injustice". I mean who wouldn't? any rational person would. But when the focus is on "hate" more than "the injustice" we can be diverted and manipulated. all of the sudden we are opposing others because we "hate them all".
we have a lot of scared atheist here. and people with PTSD behave a certain way. the question is how do we know what to look out for when gang tackled by four or five of them?

That's happened to me (being ganged up on) several times here, in this forum, and innumerable times in other forums over many years. I can only conclude that however unfair and painful it may be, there is something about my writing and personality that annoys other posters. I apparently have a superior attitude, maybe particularly for a woman (?), and my opinions are not welcome. When something happens repeatedly you have to look at the common element, i.e., me.
Not too many people are universally liked, and it's not exactly real. Even very accomplished people come under personal criticism.
