but it is well documented that gays existed through out human history, and were accepted in most societies other than Christians throughout that history.
They were not accepted, there has not been this degree of acceptance since Sodom and Gamorrha.

This just proves that you do not know your history. Try widening your scope of reading beyond just the Bible. You might learn some stuff if you care to.
