I don't remember a body ever being present at any of our wakes, Montana, but years ago, my brothers did throw me in the swimming pool at Uncle Duncles wake.. come to think of it about everyone got tossed in the pool at that one

Troop, Uncle Duncle was my geamma's older brother..He spoke with an Irish brogue and spent most of his time "going to see the doctor" which in fact was an Irish pub called "The Shamrock" on a corner not far from his house..AAAHHH, but he a kind ole drunk he was..and never missed 8:00 mass on Sunday morning

Uncle Duncle sounds like my kind of guy. Although, I would imagine that at eight in the morning on a Sunday mass would be the furthest thing from my mind after a hard night of punishing my evil liver. Of course, it's like that anyway.

As I was checking for this weeks news on “The American Atheist Association” web site this morning and found this article on death and Atheist which I knew it should be in this thread. I think it covers a lot of issues we all wonder about.

Im getting cremated and sent to the ocean. I would never get buried Im to afraid of bugs and my fear is that a fly or something will get into my coffin and lay its eggs on me for all eternity...lol
