Least religious countries?
I was looking to find some stats on which countries are least religious. I found this list:
1. NORWAY
2. NEW ZEALAND
3. DENMARK
4. IRELAND
5. JAPAN
6. FINLAND
7. SWEDEN
8. CANADA
9. PORTUGAL
10. AUSTRIA
I'm not sure how accurate this is, if at all.

Interesting list of countries that are generally considered pretty nice to live in. I thought Austria was pretty Catholic, but I could be wrong. Where did you get the list?

I've traveled to all of them except Portugal and Austria and they are all great places with wonderful people.

2. Vietnam
3. Denmark
4. Norway
5. Japan
6. Czech Republic
7. Finland
8. France
9. South Korea
10. Estonia (up to 49% non-believer, atheist, agnostic)

It's interesting that all of those countries are some of the most prosperous and successful on this planet. I guess not being religious doesn't seem to have a negative impact on productivity, economics and the other factors that create a high standard of living.

Interestingly enough, the time I lived in Japan (which is number 5 on both lists!) was about as close to heaven as I have come. I would move back there again in a heartbeat. Not just because of the non-religious atmosphere but the culture, the way of life, everything about it was wonderful.

Japan is on my list of very few places "must see". Anytime i see a show on Japan, i'm very much fascinate by their lifestyle, their clothing, their culture. Quiet the place seems to be.
Troop, lucky you living there for a while, must have been an experience!

That's it... I'm moving to Sweden. That's where my people seem to be.
Knowing my luck, as soon as I get a place the bell will ring and I'll open the door to a couple of nicely dressed yet annoying young Mormon gentlemen from Utah.
Just like I do here.

I'm sure I'm in the minority out of atheists here, because I happen to be one who likes American and wouldn't move anywhere else. Visiting is fine, but I love the US, my home. American culture, American sports, American cars, etc. I guess it's the Libertarian patriotism in me.
