This is fantastic. We need to organize as many of these as possible, especially here in the USA

Do they sit around the fire and sing songs like "A cosmic accident.......yes we are!" to the tune of Kumbaya?

No, they don't sing at all because their lives are so empty and meaningless

Here's a question for the theist, what does God think when a baby is born with its organ hanging out of its body? These kinds of things do happen. Sounds like a "genetic accident" to me. But God allows these things to happen. Do you think God only allows certain genetic accidents to happen throughout the history of the universe? If you think that how God thinks, you're settling for a Model T version of the deity.

There are currently 6 Camp Quests in North America.. Camp Quest: It's beyond belief Calling it an "Atheist" camp is kind of misleading, though. It does focus on a natural world view, rather than supernatural, but campers do not have to be atheist or from atheistic households in order to attend.

When I was a kid in Belgium, I went to a secular camp that was basically "scout without the religion". No emphasis on free-thinking or anything. We sang non-religious songs around the fire and even before every meal, as if it was a prayer, but except for a few accommodations for food, religion was never ever mentioned.

But now I wish I could have gone to one of those Camp Quest .
