Didn't you know, god plays favorites. Or at least people like to think he does.

How else can you explain U of M's loss to Michigan State.

Great piece of advice. I once sent an email to a professor that use to rant about religion and how there's no God in class and just said 'please be respectful of all religions in class' I got a freaking D, maybe it was my work, but I always thought I deserved a better grade than that, I was really active in class. Either way, this lead to me thinking he chipped me. Then of coarse I retook the class later needing it for school after college (D's too low) and left because the people were acting hatefully religious if that is even possible, maybe just plain hateful hiding behind religion. I swear, this freaking class! lol it's like college english II and I've just had the worst time with it! If I have to take it this time, which I might, I'm keeping my mouth SHUT and my head down! Sometimes you just have to know when to not participate I suppose, which kind of sucks because I really enjoy analyzing literature. No more of that for me in English II.

I don't care what shape pie is, I'll probably eat it anyway.

I'd rather not eat humble pie.

I'm posting this here because I want to know what you would have done in this situation or if you have been in a similar situation before. I'm not angry about this since I've dealt with much worse, but this is admittedly another drop in the "Get the F out of Mississippi ASAP" bucket.
As long as she doesn't try and force you to join in, I see no problem.

And that's one of the problems with religious people -- they're blind.

So that's why the Detroit Lions nearly always lose! God hates the Lions because Christians used to be thrown to the lions (why did we ever stop that tradition btw?) God helps the other teams beat the Lions. Is it coincidence that the N.O. Saints beat Detroit? I think not.
And all along I thought it was just because they sucked!

This tread keep reminding me of the saying “let them do the praying for you and you do the thinking for him”. Being he was a professor who it seemed did not do much thinking you would have been at a distinct advantage to start with.
