Secular billboard in CO defaced
Source: FFRF offers reward for information leading to arrest of atheist billboard vandals
The billboard said "Keep Religion Out of Government". Somone came and replaced "religion" with "fags". This billboard is in CO - not the one in Nashville being discussed in another thread.
In the link, scroll down and look at the following (first) comment someone posted- it is funny:
From their web site the freedom folks have no problem with any religion accept christianity. They are Jesus haters.
Their original billboard is a hate crime. Hypocrites. Intolerant bigots.
It is amazing that a simple billboard can draw such a hateful response.

Somebody's being quite drama queenish, for the "f" word is used extensively in dude networks and hang-outs. I even heard it this morning. I hand out this compliment too.

I thought you guys were the drama queens - screaming at every chance that christianity was under attack. There is also a huge thead about "war on christmas" in the Politics section. In about a month, FOX will cover this "war", as it does on a yearly basis.
The post was more about intolerance, rather than a word. But, nice to know you hand it out as a compliment.

You are a bigot if you use that word as a put-down in any way. Just because "everyone" uses it doesn't make it right. It's still hurtful.  |

Man I posted in that thread, but I don't really go to any extent to over-whine about the war on Christmas.
I did mention that it needs to be separated so that non-christians can enjoy a pagan-like holiday, Saturnalia or something, without Jesus. |

I have called muslim fellas "terrorists" and I have been called "untouchable" and "pariah", I mean, anything goes. Or, hindus take the "cows" tag, "cowdung", these are all substitutes to insult and score brownie points. In my younger years, some have turned into fist fights too.
When it's a bunch of young guys in college, happy hours, there are no rules. Welcome to the real world  |

I live in the real world, dipstick. I'm the only female working in a job with seventeen men, so I don't have any sensitivity when it comes to normal sh*t talk. It's you that doesn't have a clue. It's real life that using "f-a-g" is not acceptable, just like any other racial or sexual pejorative. Just because other people use it and other slurs doesn't mean it's okay.
But you go on with your bad self and keep being a jerk. |

The extra exposure from being defaced has made this message reach a much larger audience, and place it miles above the bigot who attempted to silence the FFRF message. |
