my purpose right now is to have a job. no one seems to be hiring. wtf. been jobless since may last year. after i get a job, i will buy my house. after that, try to keep the job and the house. after that, take care of myself since no one else will. i have no luck in ANY relationship. it appears i'm NOT a people person, meaning people stay as far away from me possible. i wonder why.
i wonder what sizzly's purpose in life is and how did he do it?
oh sorry, wrong thread. i am not an atheist though. i am a non practicing catholic. just to clarify where i stand. i just wanna answer what my purpose in life is.
So, if I take it personally the universe is only as old as I am. Since I didn't exist before I was born, and I will cease to exist when I die, the universe is very young.
For me (providing you are correct) the universe (at least for me) will last a very short time.
The universe has only been here a few years. And it won't be here very much longer.
Although I'm Agnostic I'm going to post a reply anyway;
I believe I am here to produce as much postive energy into the universe as possible, be happy and follow my heart's desire. Staying in line with my integrity (walking the walk) is what I strive to do. I know right from wrong and I don't always do the right thing but the plus side to my mistakes is, so far, I have always had another chance to try again. I will have that chance untill the day I die.

That is taking it way too far, in an egocentric way. I know the universe was here before I arrived, and it will still be here after I die. It probably won't bat an eyelash at my demise. Sigh.
