Your reply was weak. You would have been better off ignoring my post after reading it. Let's move on.
Well you just fortified my earlier assessment of the validity of the glock haters in this thread.

Learn to read your own profile mr NEW YORK, along with mr atlanta and mr florida. 1 2 3 there we go

But when you become mr smyrna or mr cobb, let me know. Will be happy to pay attention then

1) Remember this sub forum is called Atlanta forum, not Cobb or Smyrna forum. . That would mean you'd have to stay out of everything related to Atlanta yourself. Am I right? So I have every right to read and participate on any thread just as you do.

2) Being Mr Cobb might happen sooner than you think. See you there soon. (And it's still only 2 locations...MisterNY no longer lives in NY )

you are right, i hate glocks...
for a plastic gun, i recommend fnh five seven. it's about 2x the cost, but it's 2x better than glocks.

the point is, just because someone doesn't like glocks doesn't mean that person is anti-gun. i'm a sig sauer and fnh fanboy. but i still have my walther p22 budget plinker.

and i still say no businesses should expand into residential territories. i have memberships to gun ranges, but i would not live next to one.

If they took building C off their plan, I think most people would be satisfied.

I find the Poll options lacking. Why has the option to support Glock and their right to use land that they obviously own been so blatantly left off the Poll? Are those who oppose Glock afraid there may be more supporters than those in opposition? Hmm, I think maybe so.

5.7 meh.. most ranges prohibit them due to backstop damage. its ugly too

No you see the point is that people oppose this because they hate the company OR/AND the industry, as yourself just pointed out.

It has nothing to do with the environment or anything else (which is a non issue due to filtration and noise insulation). There is no legitimate concern for opposition here..

you missed the point entirely. i really don't hate the company glock. i just don't care much for their product. even if it was one of my favorite products (fnh or sig sauer), i would still oppose their expansion to residential areas. in my case and others, it has mostly to do with environment. this isn't an anti-gun issue, it is an environmental issue.

This is atlanta, expansion is always into residential areas. That is the entire region's mode of growth. Are you serious?

I'm not a local resident so I didn't vote in the poll, but have read this thread with interest as this type of encroachment is possible almost anywhere.

This was the most interesting post to me for the following reason:

They acquired these 20 acres, under different names in 2005.

Why would Glock acquire this critical acreage under different names? It seems obvious they didn't want anyone doing land purchase investigation to discover they were the buyer. This action alone speaks volumes.

Good luck in your battle to deny the expansion.

compare it to other cities that are more strict on expansion to residential areas... big difference. i'm going to assume you don't have kids.
