Yes, believe it or not. We host several "citywide" conventions, and they suck up nearly all available rooms a couple of times a year. There are also so many people in town at any given time for a myriad of reasons.
One such period is coming up this Labor Day weekend. Black Gay Pride, Dragoncon and the Chick-fil-a Kickoff Bowl are all happening in the same time span.

There are plenty of places downtown where there are far more trees than there were several decades ago. Broad Street, for example, had ZERO trees in the '50s, and today it is lined with trees on both sides for the entire length of the street. Check out this
