Good point- they wouldn't be my first choice if I didn't have any restrictions..

Neither. I would only choose East Cobb because of the schools.

Sandy Springs. Its a better location. East Cobb feels isolated - you have to cross the River to get everywhere (besides other places in Cobb). Its also not easily accessible from a highway, which to me would be annoying.

Between the two...if basically nothing is an issue???

Sandy Springs.

The ultimate choice for me though: Midtown/Ansley Park.

Sandy Springs, for the same exact reasons stated by BringBackCobain.

Basically agree with what others poted here: if I had school age kids, I would go with East Cobb area for sure to use the great public schools. No school-aged kids, I would choose Sandy Springs as I like its location better.

Sandy Springs in the Heards Ferry > Ridgeview > Riverwood district. If for resell purposes only.

E Cobb is annoying to enter. Perhaps the Johnsons Ferry expansion will help, but I highly doubt it.

FWIW, I am biased as I grew up in Sandy Springs ....right next to the river. Also went to all of the schools above.
