Hi!
This past week we've had numerous thunderstorms in Ct and have lost satellite signals more often than my husband wants to tolerate... given all of the discussions posted about loss of electrical power in GA (as short as the duration may be), are there many instances that the satellite signal is lost, even if power is uninterrupted? |

I've had DirecTV since Aug of 2004. From 04 to 06, I lived in Midtown (our apt had a community directv dish). The signal went out or got pixelated when there was a major rain storm- this was probably 1-2 times a month. It didn't go out very long.
From Aug 06 to current, I'm living in Alpharetta. My dish is mounted on my apt balcony. Not once have I lost my signal or had pixelation. I'm very happy with satellite tv. |

We live out in West Cobb County and have had DirecTV since Dec '05. We haven't had any problems with losing our signal when we have storms outside.

I have direct tv since Nov 06. We lost signal during a huge storm on New Year's Eve and the other night when we had a hail storm. Those are the only two times and I stay at home with a three year old so at least one tv is on 24/7.
