Could someone please recommend some nice, inexpensive restaurants to host a dinner party of about 15 people? I would like to keep the price to no more than $15 per person. ($10/person would be better) I would also consider a luncheon. Thanks!

Do you have a preference for the type of food?

I really like Violette/French on Clairmont Rd.

I know they have an area that would seat a group of your size.

I don't have a food preference. I would just really like something nice!

See what you think about Violette--I included a link.

It seems little out of my price range...

There is a $16 special on Monday nights--including wine and dessert, if that helps.

Is this the sort of ambience you prefer--'nice' can mean many things.

Here's a list of Decatur restaurants--you could contact them or review their websites>>>

The Red Snapper on Cheshire Bridge Rd would be within your price range if you chose Lunch--good food and quiet/comfortable--one of Atlanta's hidden gems for many years>>>

For Lunch, Carpe Diem in Decatur should fit the bill.

You are right. "Nice" can mean many things. I guess I mean good food and tablecloths. A private dining area is preferred. And definitely, a dress code--no flip flops and tennis shoes.

I could be wrong, but I don't think you're going to get that for $10-$15 per person. Even if you make your guests pay for their own drinks, you're probably still working with too small of a budget.

And don't forget to factor in the tip.

Maybe a meat & three type of place would work, but it doesn't sound like that's what you're going for.
