Also the bus may be packed. If the bus is full, then you wait for next one a hour later ... or the next morning...

I went to a concert at Verizon several weeks ago. When we left, there was an entire street full of limos and taxis. Worthwhile knowing, every week the local paper publishes the crime report, which is mostly DUIs. They pick up a LOT of people in the area of Verizon after concerts.

Thanks to all who replied. Excellent replies. I'm thinking about getting a car service there and back.

We're all big transit advocates at my house, but there's a time and place for everything. I don't think I'd win any brownie points by saying, "Hurry up, honey, we've got another half mile to go and the bus leaves in 7 minutes!"

Especially if we were schlepping past rows of air conditioned limos full of people sipping champagne.
