We lived in the Arbor Hills apartment when we first moved here. They are in Toco Hills and very affordable. There is a gym with racquetball courts and olympic size outdoor pool. We loved the area. Close to midtown. Cheaper than Post Apartments and larger.

Thanks to everyone for your help. I'm actually from Virginia Beach and can't wait to get out of here!

If your job is in Midtown, it would be best for you to live in Midtown. It is a wonderful area! I don't live there (I'm out in the 'burbs) but I wish I did. Apartments in general might be a little higher priced than you'd like, but there are always deals and less expensive places to be had. Besides, you will save a lot of money (not to mention the stress of commuting) by not having to drive to work.

Default Also moving...

I would love to hear which apartment you ended up with and if you found any other tips. All the info on here is great!

I'm moving to Atlanta in less than two months, and I want to live in Midtown or Virginia Highlands. The Post properties are a little pricey. I'd ideally want to pay between $750-950 for a one bedroom. I want a secure place that is gated, I've seen online that a lot of the larger complexes have issues with cars being broken into often. Also looking for a good pool

if anyone has any specific suggestions I'd really appreciate it.
