I guess the big question is- who cares? All of these absurd reality shows do nothing to show an area's good side, and mostly end up being detrimental. People were all excited about Real Housewives coming to Atlanta, and all that did was make everyone think that Atlanta was full of gold-digging hoochie-mamas and trailer trash. Gee, where do we sign up for another reality show???

Well I for one would not be surprised if MTV decided to do a RW: Roswell. It would be in line with other recent reality shows set in "Atlanta" such as Say Yes to the Dress (taped in Sandy Springs) and the Real Housewives of Suburban Atlanta.

I agree with this one. I mean seriously, what would we gain from having a RW here? It stopped being cool about 15 years ago.

To be honest, I didn't realize Real World was still being done. But that may be because I stopped watching MTV about the same time they stopped actually playing music- maybe a decade ago?

Atlanta will host The Real World 16, radio station Q100 reported today. + reality blurred

This has been rumored for years. Note that the link is from 2004.

It's been rumored since at least 1999 or so. Even if it does come to Atlanta now, no one watches the show anymore anyway, so I doubt it would have an appreciable effect on how the city is perceived by anyone.

Actually, the shows ratings aren't bad at all. I highly doubt Roswell would be where the house is either. That doesn't make any sense. It would be somewhere intown.

The people on the Real World are the lowest of the low. They are stupid, whiny, immature young people. Do we really want this for Atlanta? For some reason I found the show hard to watch even way back in the day when I was young and barely knew what sex was.

If the ratings aren't bad, that's a bad sign for this country LOL.

A Real World in Atlanta and the house is in Roswell ? How about a house in downtown Atlanta or on the West End ?
