On September 28 I'll be taking the GACE to get teaching certification here in Georgia. I currently live in Athens, but I'm tired of living this far away from Atlanta. I'm 31 years old, so I'm generally too old for Athens, and I have my weekend fun in metro Atlanta anyway. Besides, all my friends live there too. Basically, Athens is just far enough away from metro Atlanta to be inconvenient, and depressing to me whenever the weekend is over. (At least football weekends are fun, but football only lasts for three months.)

Gwinnett County is my favorite metro Atlanta county, and I wouldn't mind living in the area of Duluth, Suwanee or Buford, so I want to find a teaching job in that area, north of I-85 and GA 316. I could start out as a substitute teacher if I have to, just as long as I have some income. Does anybody know what the teacher/substitute turnover is like in Gwinnett County?
