Default Traffic from E. Cobb to Roswell Road/Northridge intersection

Just curious what the traffic patterns are like in the morning? I know it must get backed up getting to 400. Can anybody estimate the time it will take to get from the Shallowford/J. Ferry area to the Roswell Road/Northridge intersection? I am considering moving in the E. Cobb area and just trying to figure out commute time to a job in that location. Thank you.

Depends on what time in the morning. It shouldn't take that long though... It's not very far from the top end of Johnson Ferry to North Springs. Going east on Shallowford Road shouldn't be a problem, once you turn south onto Route 9 (Roswell Road) it might get a little busy since a lot of people just use Route 9 as an alternate for GA 400....

I would say 30 minutes at the most during rush hour traffic, if you stick to Shallowford and Route 9. I'm not sure if you were inferring that you were going to take GA 400 cause that seems kind of pointless for that trip. When the traffic is clear it should be more like 15 minutes.
