Predominately black and Predominately white areas do not have any correlation to socio-economics. You can be in a highly educated, affluent area that is majority black or in a predominately white area with low educational attainment, and high rates of poverty. You should really be ashamed of yourself for posting something like this.

I know that's not meant for me. I do reside in NE Atlanta, not far from Emory and in order to 'fit in' some sort of a 'professional' attitude is mandatory.

Others may care to share more about this.

Wow. If you are somewhat scared of black people (or minorities in general), Atlanta probably isn't the city for you.

You might want to try somewhere with a less diverse demographic, otherwise you're in for a HUGE culture shock once you get to Atlanta.
