I am trying to get some good information on suggested areas near Life University. I know the school is located in Marietta. I traveled to Marietta about 10 years ago when I was in High School and the area seemed very nice. I am trying to get an idea of what neighborhoods around Marietta have "Newer" homes. My wife is a physical therapist will have to find a job once I start school. I would like to have the areas well researched so when she starts to look for a job we have an idea of what the commutes will look like for her and for me.

Could someone give suggestions on some areas with "newer" homest in the $200,000 price range that will be close enough to travel daily into Marietta?

try West Cobb.... the area west of Marietta city limits (you'll still probably have a marietta address)

North of Marietta city limits you might find some good stuff too in the Kennesaw and Town Center areas.

South of Marietta.... I wouldn't go there. Some parts of nice but some parts are shady...

East of Marietta... don't even bother. New homes = $1million starting
