Thanks to everyone on this forum. I have learned so much from reading all of your threads. We took a trip down there last wknd and found a lovely home in Sugarloaf. We looked all over Duluth and Suwanee. I loved Suwanee and there seemed to be quite a lot of neat shops, etc going in. I have to say I was surprised by the lack of green space as you drive down the streets! I had no idea how developed the area was. But thinking about the kids' needs and resale, we chose Sugarloaf.
We'll be heading down in a month. Looking forward to getting more info from the forum about what the area has to offer.
