Thumbs up Fayetteville, Thumbs Up All the Way!!

Hi, I live in Fayetteville, and it is nice. Fayetteville is a very family oriented town; if you are looking for the nightlife, per say, bars, clubs, etc., then Fayetteville is not the place for you. There is not one liquor store in the WHOLE city, what does that tell you? The schools are nice, everything as far as shopping, grocery stores, etc. is in close proximity to most homes. The commute downtown is kind of a haul, about 40 minutes because you are 25 minutes from the nearest expressway, but, I don't have to go downtown so it's convenient for me. It is somewhat diverse (north Fayetteville anyway), many retirees and Delta Pilots live in Fayetteville and Peachtree City (which is about 15 minutes from Fayetteville).

Overall, I am very pleased; I have lived in Fairburn and Union City, and have always been a southside resident, but, overall, Fayetteville gets a thumbs up for me. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Check out some websites on Peachtree (do a search). It is a very unique community. Haven't heard anything bad about it but it is a little pricier as far as property taxes and houses. Compared to the New York state taxes I used to pay though they aren't even close to the high ones there!

Peachtree City is a wonderful place to live and raise a family! Great schools, low crime, lots of recreation, upscale in comparison to surrounding areas.
