I disagree with the list. Those areas aren't nowhere near as bad as the hoods in New Orleans, DC, Bmore, Philly, Memphis, Dallas, etc. This is a list just to make Atlanta look bad....now i'm not saying those areas are good but they should not be in the top 25 lol. If they had said East Lake Meadows or Little Vietnam back in the day I would agree but those neighborhoods listed are nowhere near as dangerous as hoods in other cities

I assume then you lived in New Orleans, Bmore, Philly, Memphis and Dallas, right? And you can pinpoint the exact neighborhoods in which the chance of getting mugged is like, oh I dont know, 1 to 10? Why would an agency want to make just Atlanta look bad when they mention tons of other cities in it??? Why can people who live in Atlanta recognize when something is wrong with their city?

Because we know the truth, really. Your agenda to portray this place as a crime ridden cesspool holds as much water as this ridiculous ranking does.

I'm sorry that you made bad choices in where you decided to buy. However, this list and your experience here DOES NOT speak to the reality that the large majority of us live in. Period.

Did you notice most of these neighborhoods seem to be near major highways?

Hardly. One of the satisfied majority is more like it.

I visited Atlanta. It was terrible petrifying. Man, people said hi on the street. I got on the MARTA, and people helped me with the stops. And someone even took my money! Once I ordered food. It was HORRIBLE!! HORRIBLE!!! Man, if Atlanta's so bad, try living in Tampa. Try Brandon too!
