I would suggest just north of Lawrenceville, you have the Mall of GA to your north, hospital in Lawrenceville to the south. Lots of shopping, theaters in both directions. Move slightly east (up 124) and you have a more country feel...

forgot to mention, Grayson has been a traffic mess for years now ... the widening of Hwy 20 will help, but in the meantime, it is even more of a mess. Definitely no shopping there other than a couple of Grocery stores, blockbuster and some fast food. You have to go north to Lawrenceville or south to Loganville for that.
