Hi evveryone, we have finally sold our home in fla!!!! and are moving up to Atlanta. I have a position lined up with Pied Hosp, but am disappointed because one of the areas I was interested in to purchase a home is quite a commute...Acworth Bentwater Subdivision. I loe the homes in there and around and the area but its 33 miles exactly to Pied and I am starting to 2nd guess it all. Backgr info: Price range is 250-300k I need at least 3k sq ft and 1/2 acre (have 4 kids)
I dont mind the commute but this traffic talk is scaring me!!!

Yeah, don't move to Acworth. I'd look at Smyrna for a much more manageable commute as well as low taxes and deals on homes. You can definitely get an older home (ranch style on a decent size of land) for this budget. Stay close to 75/285 in Smyrna and you won't be on the road for too long.

Smyrna to West Cobb has the best prices overall... or look in the nicer areas of Decatur.

P.S... there is not a need for multiple "??????????" in the subject lines of posts.. People WILL respond.
