Well for many reasons. The size is one. Coming from a public elementary school with less than 400 students the sheer volume of people was overwhelming. When we looked at the school a few years back it seemed much less organized than Mt Bethel. I had a number of issues with it but the icing on the cake was a really ignorant remark the administrator (still employed)who was giving us the tour made. I won't go into it but it really it spoke volumes. A personal friend is employed at the school and over the years has confirmed a lot of my perceptions. Though I did not chose either school I felt that Mt Bethel was the better choice. I guess I might say I am pretty thorough. We decided Walton would not be a good fit for our children down the road so we picked a school that ultimately feeds into Pope.

Thank you for all your comments and suggestions. Just curious , saw lots of trailer classrooms in the Sope Creek school. Is the school overcrowded? Is there any plan for building new classrooms? Any information?

Our agent told me that we might have more choices in East side elementary school in our price range. How is that compared to MT Bethel.

Once again thank you for all your comments

You will have more choices in the East Side Elementary School district (and in many other East Cobb elementary school districts) with your price range. It is a very good school.

Sope Creek is nice, but it is crowded.
