My 24 yr old daughter has a new job in ATL and wants to move into the Buckhead area, hopefully within walking distance of the bars. She's set to rent a place in the Eclipse but she is really pushing the money situation. Of course, I'm more cautious so, before she signs, does anyone have any suggestions for $1000 rental? Criteria: safe (walking, parking car, break-ins, etc.), walking distance to all the great stuff at Buckhead for 20 somethings, doesn't have to be quiet (obviously) but not totally ridiculous, either. Any suggestions?

I've lived in 2 nice apartments in N Buck head: Chastain Terrace and Charleston Court - both gated, youthful w/o too rowdy, on bus lines, local-ish bars (look up The Anchor Pub) and within 2 miles of MARTA train and top rated Hospitals (Northside) Kroger, Taget and Publix all within 1-2 miles, too.

Anyone familiar with the Atrium at Buckhead? For the price, size and location it looks like that's where we'll land unless someone gives me a firm wave off.
