I'm coming down this week for a face to face interview. Are there any reasonable priced gas stations near the ATL airport? My interview will take place in Sandy Springs and I will fly home after the interview. I will take GA400 to I-85 to the airport. TIA for any replies!

if you get off at the airport exit (camp creek exit) and go away from the airport there are a number of gas station on camp creek. They are a few cents more then, but how much gas are you going to burn? in a short trip?

Thanks. Down in Orlando, there's an only gas station next to the airport (I forgot which exit) and they charged like $2-3 dollars more per gallon than the gas stations 3-4 miles away. I wanted to avoid getting hosed like that especially I'm not familiar with the areas near the airport.

I'm spending 2 full days on the north side and I plan on checking out several areas around Sandy Springs. Probably 1 tank worth.

You can also head down I285 down the west side of the city, The cheapest (near the airport) ive seen is at I285 @ Camp Creek, Then just follow Camp Creek to the rental car returns. (I don't rent cars at the airport, but have filled up before hitting the off-site parking lots so I dont need to fill up on my way home)

You'll see QT stations all over town. Just top off the tank before you leave Sandy Springs and head back to the Airport. It's about 16 or so miles using 400 to I-85.

Unleaded regular at QT's around town has been holding pretty steady this week at $1.69.

Good luck with the interview!

$1.69?!?! I'm sure you meant $2.69. It's $3.09 in Michigan right now.

There aren't any gas stations by the Atlanta airport that charge the ridiculous markup that the stations near the Orlando airport does. I'm suprised that's even legal. I was in Orlando in September and they got me...I ended up paying $4.95 a gallon. Super pissed.

And good luck with your interview as well.

Agreed, there are no gas stations that are charging $2-3 more per gallon, that is just plain ridiculous, and just wouldnt fly! I guess since there are quite a few gas stations near the airport the most you would be paying is 10-15 cents more a gallon, although I dont think it would be even that much, as from what I have seen the gas is most expensive in the city.
