Hi I am relocating from NY to atlanta and wanted to know about some particular areas.... I have had a chance to look around the city I have seen some recent homes for sale in the cascade area does anyone know about this area??? I need to know how are schools ( although my daughter is not of school age she will be in a few years and if i buy a house i need to take this into consideration) how is the population ( I like to live in a mixed neighborhood) i have drove around and some areas look amazing and some look sketchy... The parts of atlanta i like are up north (north buckhead, sandy springs) but my hubby job would be in south atlanta and we dont want to battle traffic daily. I'd also like to be close to shopping not particularly a mall more like dry cleaning, walmart, supermarket gym etc...

also we would like to live amongst professionals as we are both young professionials with a child and want a safe quiet environment.

rental budget 1000
real estate budget 300k
