Im curious to hear from anyone here who has moved to Atlanta from another country. I plan to move to Atlanta (with the green card if the American government allows it) after I complete Uni in Australia. What was your experience like? How did you find the transition? Is it what you expected? How did you find the area that you moved to? Any pitfalls to be aware of? And any other comments that you may like to add. From this forum and through other research Atlanta sounds like the place to move to (affordable housing - esp compared to Australia like Melbourne & Sydney, great shopping, great career opportunities, the weather, the sports esp basketball which I have seen on tv here in oz and the food sounds awesome!! Please share, thanks in advance!
