So, I am picking my mom up from the airport today ~11am. I want to take her to lunch. Normally, this isn't a problem. Only, she had her gall bladder removed and she's suffering from chronic pancreatitis, so she's restricted to a very, very low fat diet. This is not difficult to do at home but I am not familiar with dining out options.

I'd like to take her to lunch after picking her up but don't know where to go where she can get food with less than 5-10 grams of fat TOTAL in it.

I know a lot of places will cook to order and you can get things steamed/grilled. But I'd like to know a few options where this is as easy done as said.

Thanks!

Eats uses no fat or meat products in their vegetables. Only a little corn oil in the green beans, collards and black beans.

Ooo, thanks, George, I think we'll try that. Thanks, you, too, LD, we might try that one later in the week. I have to discuss vegetarian options with her. I know right now she's been living off chicken and veggies and is leery of giving up her meat source. I mean, I know you can get plenty of protein on a veggie diet but my mom isn't all that up on those sorts of things.

Thanks, guys!

JPD, Eats is still a little bit greasy for her. It's actually very important she eat little fat right now while her inflammation heals.
