I may be taking a position 15 minutes south of Atlanta and thought I'd reach out to the community to see what are the best neighborhoods in Atlanta for young professionals. I'm not worried about rent since I'm moving down from Boston where the rents are very expensive. I'm single, professional, educated, and like areas with a good amount of nightlife, shopping, museums, etc. I would like to live right in the city and since I have never been any feedback is much appreciated. Thank you.

Default Yes

Do you have any requirements- apartment, vs condo, need a yard, etc? What about price range? There are a lot of young professional people that live in Midtown and buckhead. Both have a large number of bars and clubs, and most of the museums are located in midtown. The drive from midtown down south is a very easy hop onto 75/85 and you will be going against traffic so no problems there. Buckhead would add an additional 15 mins to your commute as it is more north.
