I think he was a financial guy/banker of some sort. Perhaps a disgruntled client?

HMMM ... applying this logic, that a couple of high-profile crimes occurring in an area now make it "BAD," could we also reverse logic and assume NO such high-profile crimes occurring in a perceived "BAD" area for a period of time thus make the "BAD" area "GOOD" ???

THIS JUST IN: No major crime reported in Clayton County or along Bankhead Highway this week! Clayton County and Bankhead must be "GOOD" and "SAFE" again! HOORAY!

It's been long gone since they tore it down for the new Dilliards several years back.

Yes, this is shaping up to look like a planned hit, and not random at all.
Anyone that knows Dunwoody also knows that such a crime is hardly indicative of the area.
