Default Is PTC worth the money

Okay we really need help!
We are trying to find a good place to call home. We are moving in sept. from Indy.
My husband will working in Peachtree City, which sounds like wonderful place to live.
So we are trying to narrow down places.
We are looking at the cities around PTC as in Senoia, Newnan, Sharpsburg, Fayetteville and of course PTC itself.
We see we can get more for our money when we buy a house in the towns surrounding PTC.
We have 2 kids 11 & 2 that will be in public schools. I have seen the ratings and scores for the schools, but would like some personal inputs about them.
So the big question is it worth the money to live in PTC or are the towns around just as good? I know that I listed a few towns, so whatever info I can get will be helpful!

Peachtree city in some ways is a "cleaner" city in that they have much more strict building codes than many other cities. They also have a series of golf cart trails, so if you buy into the right community you will have access to those and can zip along, even to the grocery store, on your zippy cart thing. For many, this and good schools are enough, but yes, you pay for it.

Other places in the area are as any other - some good areas, some bad, all have good or not to good neighborhoods. Of all, yes, Peachtree City is among the better. If you can afford it, you certainly won't make a mistake.

In many ways, people are paying for McIntosh and Starr Mills school districts. Other schools are good but they are not on the same level as those two.

Peachtree City is BY FAR worth the extra money. Every subdivision, school, shopping center, etc is connected to the cart path center. It is the life-blood of the town. Recreation and schools are top notch here. There is NO comparison. There is a reason why it is called "The Bubble."
