What's the story on this area? I'm not sure what you call it -- Embry Hills, maybe? I'm referring to the neighborhoods around Evans Road, Chamblee Tucker, Henderson Road, etc.

Things looking up there, going down or just holding steady?

To me that is 'Northlake'.

Several years ago there was concern over an increase in theft/burglaries. Some parts of Chamblee Tucker seem to have declined.

Yes, I guess that's right. Is that Lakeside High? It was stellar back in the day but I wonder how it's faring nowadays.

The AJC periodically has articles on the DeKalb School System--a search for a new school superintendent has been approved, FWIW. Several years ago Lakeside had some sort of administrative issues---I assume those were resolved.
