BTW, I biked home from work in this mess. I stayed relatively dry, though, because I wore a dorky Army green rain suit over my biking tights....

It was kind of fun. Very dark with many street lights and traffic lights out.

As for CNN vs Fox...last time I paid much attention to CNN was during the first Gulf War. And I've never watched Fox News. I'm an NPR gal all the way.

And sometimes I like to watch "Democracy Now!".

Speaking of, I was in Manhattan over the holiday with my family. We spent most of our time walking around the island. I passed RIGHT BY the studio where they film "Democracy Now!" and I didn't even know it until I was back in ATL.

I also stopped in front of The Dakota.

^^^ Agreed! Murdoch's has always been in it for the money, not to promote quality journalism. But trying convincing a Fox follower of that. Every personality they've got was lured from somewhere else on the promise of more money and better ratings -- not because of some ideology. They get paid to promote an agenda, not be objective. And some, like Shepherd Smith, are just plain creepy. MSNBC is just as bad.

Spend a day channel switching like I have and you'll see how CNN is actually reporting news all day, while the others just argue politics. And the anchors at CNN are really very likable. How could anybody NOT like Robyn Meed on HLN?

Not me! Fox News is detrimental to America, IMHO!
