We seem to really be getting a lot of "supernatural" genre-type films lately. Zombies, werewolves.....
I know, it's awesome!

They were definitely filming scenes for The Walking Dead there a few weeks ago; my DH and I were coming up through the back lot after hiking Kittredge Park and did a double take at the school buses parked back there labeled 'Beacon County Schools'.
Alas, that building will never be known by anything but Briarcliff High School by myself, TakeAHike and other stellar alumni.

You're welcome!

I Googled. I think the query was "film production Dekalb School of Arts". Something like that.

I used to work in my off time for Cha-Cha, one of those online question/answering services, for a little extra cash on the side about 2 years ago. We had to find the answer to whatever questions came in in under 3 minutes, I think, or it would go to someone else. I'm an expert googler, now!

There was some filming going on at a house on Oakdale Rd in Druid Hills (also along my bike route), about a week's worth, I think in September. I Googled 1000 different ways and couldn't find out what it was.

I think it's a lot of fun that all this filming is going on.

Did you ever find out what it was?

No, I didn't. I should have stopped and asked because I was on my bike and there were a lot of people just hanging around. Even some residents had pulled out their lawn chairs to watch. So I should have stopped and asked but I didn't want to talk to anyone (I can be a bit anti-social when I am bike commuting...it's a rather weird quality I discovered about myself).

It may have been Mean Girls 2. I think they were filming in that area around that time period.
