Read/fill this out and post it in your question:
Moving to atlanta soon? Read this first

You need to find a job 1st then find housing close to it. Most comutes in ATLANTA are long if you have to go more then 10 miles or so

What kind of nurse are you? Do you want to work in a hospital or another particular kind of environment?

Depending on the type nurse, the area around 285 and 400 is a big 'medical' area - the Peachtree Dunwoody Road area - there are several hospitals there, and of course the accompanying doctors buildings. It's on the north side of Atlanta and a straight shot if you live up Hwy 400.

Ok since when did Medical Assisting become nursing. Anyway my best advice would be not to move until you get a job.Jobs are hard to come by in the ATL area even in the medical field. They are just not hiring. And if they are the pay really sucks and not forgetting the housing cost, its ridiculous for the pay. I'm an RN, in my 20's and was looking to move there and there are hardly any jobs, not even for travel nurses and I hv excellent ICU experience so I hv chosen to look at Houston, TX.
