I-75 (from Michigan); also, once we arrive we will go to Tucker. Both points of contact would be appreciated.

I live in Tucker. I usually take Lawrenceville Hwy (hwy 29) when I need to go to Lawrenceville. It runs right through Tucker and Lawrenceville.
I don't know which specific area of construction you're referring to, but now that we know you're coming down 75, I'm sure someone on here can suggest a good route.

75 South, 285 East, go to Tucker, then take Lawrenceville Hwy (hwy 29) to Lawrenceville. From Lawrenceville, you can take Lawrenceville Hwy back down to south Gwinnett and take any of the Gwinnett Village exits (Beaver Ruin, Indian Trail, Jimmy Carter Blvd).

Thank you so much!!!! I got the right person. Which direction is 29 (N,E,S or West) from Tucker? Is that off of I85? We have a son in Tucker. I am not sure if we will try to find Lawrenceville from 75 when we arrive or go to Tucker. Thanks again for this information. Do you know how far Buford is from Lawrenceville/Grayson? Thanking you in advance.

PS Our son in Tucker mentioned the traffice. That's why we were concerned. I wonder if he knows about this route Not sure where the construction is that he's talking about. We will surely inform him.

29 sort of runs east or slightly north-east, somewhat parallel to 1-85. It's not off of 85. You can get on 29 from I-285.
