California developer takes over Streets of Buckhead *| ajc.com

This guy fails to mention 10th and Piedmont, but it is so ABC so go figure lol. I would say Piedmont and Monroe serves as a key intersection also, even though it's not pedestrian friendly.
I think the intersection of Marietta St and Howell Mill is also becoming a landmark.

People talk about Five Points a lot. It is historical but it's in a free fall in terms of significance.

Well, after y'all have reached a concensus identifying the signature intersections, please persuade the city and GDOT to apply this treatment to each one of them.

But remember it took private citizens and businesses to design, plan, and mostly pay for this improvement at Peachtree/Piedmont in Buckhead.
The city and GDOT won't address these things for another 30 years.

Gotta put Boulevard and Freedom Parkway on the list, because it's THE signature skyline view.

Sad, but true.

At least Phase II is already in the works, from 400 northward to Peachtree-Dunwoody. They have already removed the trees from the front of Phipps Plaza, and after the Holidays construction is slated to go into high gear.
