Jefferson Park in East Point might fit your bill, but you'll have to offer more info on what you are looking for.

What zip code does that fall in? Looking at under 300k, 4 bedrooms a plus, mainly family friendly, not super busy, larger lot a plus; 3/4 of an acre or bigger...trying to keep airport commute under 40min...thanks

You would have a hard time getting to the airport in under 40 minutes (maybe on the weekend, but not during the week). The trip from the Dunwoody Marta station to the airport takes 45 min. Finding a 4 bedroom in Dunwoody proper for under 300K would also be very tough, and would almost certainly be a major "fixer-upper."
