When you come in from the Airport take a look at the Camp Creek Parkway/South Fulton area. There are tons of new housing developments with great builders from midrange to upscale in that area with shopping amenities, parks and recreation. Also it is overwhelming Black so I think that might appeal to you.

The airport is adjacent to the Camp Creek/South Fulton area so it's literally right down the street on Camp Creek Pkwy. Go past the Camp Creek Marketplace (Myriad of shopping, gyms, restaurants) and into the residential area directly past the marketplace and you will find many nice subdivisions to your liking.

Check out Le Jardin off of South Fulton Parkway and Cedar Grove. It's a community of custom homes that start at close to $1 million I don't know if the subdivision itself would be considered "racially segregated", but as was already said, the general area is predominantly black (at the moment- it's building up quickly and the demographics are shifting somewhat).

The "racially segregated areas" you are desiring have already been mentioned, but if you are considering affluent black areas, Cascade is WAY more affluent than DeKalb (Lithonia). In fact, I would not consider Lithonia affluent at all and I looked at that area when I searching for a home. Cascade is way nicer than Lithonia.
I DO want to mentioned that I was surprised that you were interested in a segregated area. There are several affluent african americans in Cobb (Vinings/Mableton/Smith) and Gwinnett (Duluth/historic Norcross/historic Lawrenceville) because of the great schools and entertainment options. I don't know if you have kids. I just wanted to throw that out there for your consideration.
