Alright, I have been on-line Property Management Companies Nationwide that Manage Rental Homes and Houses for a few days now. I cannot seem to figure anything out and I need some help. As you remember I told you guys that I was relocating to Georgia and had found a home in Fayetteville. Well, its tooooo darn far away from everything. I will be working in Fulton County near the 100-300 block of Pryor Street, SW. I realize that buying may not be good right now because I know nothing about the communities or neighborhoods.
I need to locate a single family home where I can get at least 2 acres or more; can't live right ontop of someone else. I have a dog (English Hound) and if you know anything about them, they are hunters by nature...can run 5 5-6 hours straight without getting tired. So, aside from my 1 child who too is full of energy, we need space and plenty of it. So, I said all of that to say......which counties are in reasonable commuting distance to 100-300 Pryor Street, SW Atlanta where a sista can cash-in on her right to quiet enjoyment? |

Wow, for what you are asking for (ESPECIALLY 2 acres), Fayette and Paulding (as well as other counties further from that area) seem to be the only realistic places. Let's see, maybe you could try Cobb or south Fulton, particularly the Fairburn area, areas near Hwy 92 and South Fulton Parkway, still within pretty close proximity to interstates). Or, try zip code 30331 (near the Camp Creek, Butner Road, Demooney Road, Jones and Pittman Roads) area (that's unincorporated Atlanta). Those homes seem to have acres of land when I am passing through there. Plus, the elementary school, Stonewall Tell Elementary, is excellent, one of the best in south Fulton County. I like to think of it as rural, but, still within reasonable downtown city limits. I can only speak for the southside where I was born and raised; don't know much about the northside.

You're going to be hard pressed to even find a house with 2 acres in Paulding County unless you look for an older home that's nowhere close to any subdivision. West Cobb or Paudling in the more rural areas may be it, but you'll have to have an agent look for it. You just don't see properties listed like that everyday, and people snag them up ASAP when they do become available.

The only choices I can think of is Paulding, Fayette or West Cobb. I couldn't recommend any other counties, even though they may have what you are looking for. Sorry!
