Unfortunately, it's not just youths. My old neighbor had two kids of her own and she was a living "gangsta rap" stereotype.

I don't think Diddy ever gave off a gangster vibe. Some of the people signed to Bad Boy, sure. I don't believe for a minute he shot or shot at anyone in that club.
ETA: I'm not sure why DJ Unk is on the list?? He falls into the same catergory as D4L/Fabo, Soulja Boy, Jibbs, etc. No talent having soon to be 'forgettables' who blew up because party music is huge right now.

Outkast, Outkast, Outkast!
Again, I say....OUTKAST!!! I like T.I. as well, but, how many rappers first of all as someone said, have been around as long as they have and still come out with new, innovative, fresh sounds? I have EVERY single CD since Southernplayalisticcadillacmuzic and each song they have ever done sounds DIFFERENT, yet refreshing. T.I.'s music is cool, but, is becoming a bit repetative in sound. Sure that's his signature sound, but, Outkast over the years has not been afraid to take risks and it has surely paid off. We don't here about "East Point" and "Headland and Delowe" (like we did in their first CD) as much as we have to hear about "Bankhead Courts" and "Hollywood Road." We get the picture, T.I., we know where you reppin', can we move on?

On a final note, for those that don't believe that Outkast are the kings of Southern hip hop, check out the new UGK single featuring Outkast--International Players Anthem. It's what Southern hip hop should sound like.
