Default single mom

Ok, lets try this again with more detail. I am single mother looking to relocate to the atlanta area. I need to know a decent location with great elementery schools(where i wont have to consider a private school). Somewhere where a hospital is convenient, considering my profession. I dont want a long commute back and forth to work. I'm only looking to rent for a while, possibly an apartment or townhome around the $700 range. Any suggestions?

There are plenty of apartments and townhomes near hospitals in the Atlanta area -- the only challenge you may have is finding something in the $700 price range that is near a decent school system. I know there are apartments in the Perimeter Mall and Sandy Springs area that would be convenient to hospital locations at the Medical Center Station, but I think you would be paying more than $700.

I would suggest getting more of a solid idea of where you will be working, and then make your home search from there. My child is grown so I am pretty much out of touch of where the good schools are nowawdays...but maybe some of the other posters can point you in the right direction.

Also, another thing that might help in pointing you in the right direction is whether you have a car or will have to depend on MARTA. That will make a difference in where your search options are -- and if you do have a car, it might help get a lower rental rate, as most of the apartments located near MARTA will charge for the convenience of being near public transportation.

Just remember to have your faith. I know that big things are on the horizon for me in Atlanta. I have a feeling that I will be blessed with a stylist career and eventually a s a professional singer.
