I am considering renting on Columns Dr. in East Cobb.

I'll be turning left onto Johnson Ferry to go north, away from the river. How is that intersection, especially with a left turn in the morning during rush hour? Thanks

The traffic heading south on Johnson Ferry is bad in the morning rush hour. From the vantage point of being in that traffic, the lineup on Columns Drive doesn't look long to me. Most of the traffic from Columns is turning right, of course. That intersection will doubtless be much affected as they complete the extra span across the Chattahoochee right there and add extra lanes to J. Ferry. So there will definitely be major road work continuing there for the next year or so, I believe.

Thanks for the quick reply. I have read about that construction so I guess in the near term it's a wild card.

I've noticed a lot of the main roads in East Cobb (Roswell, Lower Roswell) have schools on them. Is traffic in the area significantly better if leaving before the Elementary Schools start up (~7:50)?
